About Me
Art has been my passion since childhood, starting with drawing alongside my Grandmother and Father, and continuing I sought new ways to express my creativity wherever went.
During my youth, particularly in high school, I was deeply immersed in art. However, life took a different direction; after leaving college, I spent 8 years in the United States Navy, primarily aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). It was during my Navy service that I rediscovered my passion for art. Commissioned by the ship's captain, I created a mural on hangar bay door, measuring approximately 20 by 30 feet. This reignited my love for art.
After serving in the Navy, I applied to SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) and was accepted. However, life had different plans, leading me back to north Alabama where I enrolled at the University Alabama in Huntsville. There, I began pursuing an engineering degree with a focus on software development. It wasn't until I took a graphical development course that I discovered the profound impact art could have on life, inspiring me to integrate my artistic skills into all my endeavors, from software design to personal projects.
Art is not merely a job for me; it's not something I just engage in. It shapes my thoughts and helps me tackle challenges. It serves as my means of self-expression in every facet of my life.
